2. Get to know the program and Training

2.1. Guides
We recommend that you familiarize yourself with and download the relevant guides for your delivery. The guides are designed so that you can easily share them with relevant colleagues or print them out and make them available in the dispatch area.

2.2. Training and motivating employees

To achieve success with your loyalty program, it is important that employees receive thorough training on how to use the program and understand why a loyalty program is necessary. Employees should also be informed about the benefits and value of the program, as this increases the likelihood of success. The guides in section 2.1 can therefore be useful for training employees through:

  • Reviewing guides and making them available to employees.
  • Creating an understanding of why employees should focus on loyalty.

To counteract the stagnation of member recruitment after the training period, it can be useful to establish internal competitions related to member recruitment. Remember that it's important to design the competitions in a way that is perceived as achievable and fair among the employees. Suggestions for competitions and prizes could include:

  • The employee who recruits the most members wins a gift card worth 1000 NOK. The competition can also be divided based on the number of customers the store has if you want stores in large and small locations to compete against each other.
  • If you have multiple stores, the store that recruits the most members can win 10,000 NOK, which can be used for team building activities such as 'Fort Boyard' or an escape room.
  • The employee who recruits the most members can win 3 chosen items the store sells or cinema tickets.

Tip: You can also book the Loyco customer success team to present your loyalty program alongside you and all relevant colleagues through a Teams video meeting. You can choose a time in this calendar and invite relevant colleagues. Remember to book at least 1 week in advance and describe the desired training so that Loyco has enough time to prepare quality content.
